The GreenHouse Project

The GreenHouse Project is brought to you by the Victorian Government, through its agency Sustainability Victoria, and is supported by Boroondara, Casey and Knox councils.

The GreenHouse Project offers a free home assessment, which identifies areas in the home where you can reduce energy, water and waste. You can either complete an on-line assessment or organise for a trained assessor to visit your home. After the assessment, you are able to take advantage of our follow up services:

• Ring our Help Desk with a question (1300 174 101). Our Help Desk phone line is open during office hours if you want to ask an expert a question.
• Ask our expert a question via email.
• We can pair you up with another interested household (buddy) in your local area, to share ideas and information on how you've saved energy, water and waste.
• Ask a question on our forum, and even answer other peoples' questions.
• We will send regular bulletins with ideas, news and updates on government rebates and schemes.

At the conclusion of the project, each resident that has had a home assessment will be asked to complete a brief evaluation survey.
